Neighborhood Parks connects local residents with artists, architects and designers in an effort to build innovative parks.

Our pilot program aims to build its first park in Koreatown -- a diverse and thriving neighborhood in the heart of Los Angeles. Koreatown has a mere 0.1 park acres per 1,000 people compared to the county average of 3.3 park acres per 1,000 people. Private construction is booming yet green space is severely lacking.
